東北大震災にあった中学生達を夏休み中、メルボルンへ呼ぶプロジェクトのために販売したチャリティーカレンダーに使われた画です。画の意味は英語をヒントにして下さい。I am honoured to share my picture in the “Charity Calendar for Japan 2012," published in Melbourne to raise fund for the program to invite junior high school students from earthquake stricken region to help to cheer devastated people in the region. My pastel painting is in the month of May, titled; Fukushima*Samurai*Nadeshiko. I sincerely wish for the safety of the people who work at the reactor. The colour of the horse represents the uniform of the "50 samurai" dubbed by Australian journalists. The rider wears not only the helmet of the famous samurai from earthquake striken Fukushima, Date Masamune, but also the uniform of Nadeshiko Japan soccer team which had given much needed cheers to devastated people of Japan.
